What Ward Offices Do
Ward offices (kuyakusho) handle most government services for residents:

Each of Osaka's 24 wards has its own office. You must use the office for the ward where you live.
Hours and Access
Standard Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:30 Closed: Weekends, national holidays, December 29-January 3
Extended Hours: Some wards offer evening or weekend hours for popular services. Check your specific ward.
Holiday Windows: Major wards (Namba, Umeda area) sometimes open limited Saturday services.
